  “I got burned by Empire Roadstone and it was due to their poor planning so they abandoned the job and left me with a costly mess to take care of myself. So many "Red Flags" for this company, please read and be warned. 1) On their website they claim to be "Established in 1964" and also say "Serving Canada since 1995" yet as of posting this none of their Google reviews are more than a month old? 2) The owner/operator which calls himself "Tom" and his partner calls himself "Jerry", funny that they use names of a cat and mouse cartoon. 3) Try asking for their last names, you won't get them. 4) Ask for an HST or business number,…”

  “We are extremely pleased with our new driveway by Tom and his crew! They were professional, courteous and hard working and showed up when they said they would. They worked extremely fast and efficiently, showed great attention to detail, and we are thrilled with the result. All for a great price!”

  “Caution: Quality of finished product leaves much to be desired. At the start of our business Tommy was very friendly and offered me what i found to be a reasonableprice for the driveway that was decided on (08 June 2024). He and his brother (I think the other gentleman with the accent is related, if not i apologize) was also very friendly and gave my wife and I a good feeling so we agreed to the design, price, and the expected quality. That's where the good feeling ended unfortunately. 1. They were late to start, which my wife and I were able to work around. 2. They exceeded the their own deadlines a few times.   “Tom and his team did our driveway a couples of weeks ago. Was very polite when offering services but was curt and rude and didn't seem happy with any questions we had while the work was going on. The driveway started coming apart in a few places within a week. Despite being promised 3 years of warranty, multiple calls and texts have not been responded to.”

  “May 8th, 2021 I got my driveway quoted to be redone by Empire Roadstone. Paid a deposit of $1400. They came and ripped out my driveway and said they would be back to lay down asphalt. After multiple delays and rescheduling attempts we finalized a date of July 19, 2021. They never showed up. Now they do not answer the phone or respond to emails. Buyer beware. It is now Aug 5, 2021 and my driveway is still not complete.”
